S600

A second stage regulator must translate natural breathing behavior into mechanical reality.  A high quality second stage can significantly reduce stress and enhance diver safety by providing smooth, low-effort breathing response, resulting in ample yet controllable quantities of air.

However, once underwater and dependent on a regulator, we suddenly realize how personal and unique breathing behaviors are and how important a regulator can be. The harsher the diving conditions, the higher the flexibility and response we demand from a second stage regulator.
