Greetings!
The winter dive season is upon us. Winter is the
best time to dive in the midwest, Visibility i
mproves,
and the crowds all go home. Last weekend we had
all sorts of fun in a rescue class. Earnie and Shawna
Wilson brought Chilli for everyone. Pause!!! And
then all of the laughs and giggles began.
Mike Stevenson was diving in a rental drysuit and has
said it is so nice he is going to order a personalized
suit. Way to go Mike!!!! You will really appreciate
that new suit. We will also have an other rescue
class soon for those of you who could not make this
one.

Manatee Trip
Crystal River Florida
Less than 60 days left until we head out to Florida to
spend some time diving with some of the most
beautiful and graceful underwater creatures on the
planet. There are only a couple spots left. If you plan
to attend don't be the first one denied a spot when
they are all gone.

Diving Medicine
Diving and your health
From the desk of the Ozark Dive Company medical
officer we have some news. If you remember from
your training, diving at depth causes increased
oxygen pressures in your system which increases
free radical production. Taking anti-oxidants such as
Vitamins C and E help to offset these negative
effects. Always check with your established
physician before making changes to your personal
diving routine.
